Rachel Roscow, Founder and President
Rachel founded Roscow Market Research to provide clients expert market research consulting without the red tape of a large firm. She is a skilled moderator and market researcher with nearly 20 years of supplier and client-side market research and marketing experience. Rachel works in virtually any industry. She has a knack for applying what she knows from other industries to benefit her clients. And, Rachel has been conducting healthcare research since early in her career and knows it well. Rachel seamlessly handles soup to nuts for her clients' qualitative and quantitative studies and never misses a beat.
Rachel spent more than five years at XM Satellite Radio (now Sirius XM Radio) as Director of Market Research and then Director of Advertising and Media, where she was part of the initial team to launch and build a new brand and new satellite radio category. She managed all marketing research initiatives and then switched gears to manage XM's ad agency where she oversaw media planning as well as the creative development and production of TV, print, radio and online advertising.
Over the years, Rachel has worked for several market research firms, where she developed client relationships, ran large qualitative and quantitative studies including advanced analytics, and moderated countless focus groups and interviews. Along with her diverse industry experience, she has maintained a focus on healthcare research for major pharmaceutical and other healthcare companies.
Rachel earned an MBA from Loyola University. She lives in the Washington, DC area with her husband and two children. In her spare time, she enjoys good food, good wine, and good historical fiction. She's an avid runner and loves yoga. She is also a trustee of the Tikkun Olam Women's Foundation of Greater Washington, a fabulous organization that makes grants to not-for-profit programs dedicated to women and girls.
